Breaking Down Trenton Hall

Trenton Hall is a class of 2012 high school football prospect that should certainly pique the interest of college football coaches and recruiters.

Top on the list of Hall's assets is his ability to consistently make the big hit. That’s something you really can’t teach – you either have it or you don’t.

Along with his penchant for delivering the big stick, the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Ram has great size (6-3, 196) and shows a very good burst to the ball – whether that be attacking it in the air or blasting a runner carrying it on the ground. Hall wraps up all the previous mentioned goodies with an obvious strong feel for the game.

The multi-sport athlete was a 2nd team all-district basketball player and a 2nd team all-district baseball selection in 2010/2011. So it’s no wonder that this talented athletic kid – who played QB for the Rams last season – is now excelling this year as a safety. Currently, Hall leads the team in tackles and has recorded three interceptions (one pick-six), in helping the Rams to a 9-1 record in 2011.

Much of Hall’s success this season can surely be attributed to being coached by legendary all-pro defensive back Albert Lewis, who starred for the Kansas City Chiefs (1983 -1993) and the Oakland Raiders (1993-1998). Lewis had this to say about Trenton Hall.

“ I have no doubt that Trent can play at the next level and had I coached him for more than one year that he would be high on all recruiting list, a coach would greatly appreciate the knowledge he has of the cover 3 defense and would fit in great in a cover 2 or 3system.”
